Relationships can bring us immense connection, joy, and pleasure. When they aren't functioning in the way we'd like, they can also be a source of considerable pain. Let us help you rediscover the love you once felt in your relationship and get back to a place of trust, communication, and appreciation.
Due to licensing laws, we are able to serve couples in which both partners are residents of either California or Illinois.
Couples therapy is an ideal space to:
Say what's on your mind in a safe space, without falling into the trap of another fight.
Learn how to truly hear one another on a deeper level, listening not only to your partner's words but also to their valuable emotional messages.
Revitalize positive feelings of connection and intimacy that have been lost for too long.
Renegotiate your commitment to one another and chart the best path for the future of the relationship.

For many in LGBTQIA+ community, it's important they know their therapist not only accepts them, but has a deep understanding for the unique aspects of their life shaped by the identities they hold.
On a personal level:
Several of our therapists know what it's like to move through the world as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Although we may use our personal experiences to better collaborate with you, we honor that your own unique identities may create an experience that is different than our own.
All therapists at Framework who are not themselves members of the LGBTQIA+ community identity as allies. Our ally therapists practice LGBTQ-affirming therapy and may seek consultation from an LGBTQIA+ colleague when appropriate.
On a professional level:
We're dedicated to remaining knowledgeable and affirming of experiences of gender, sexuality, and relationship structure unique to the LGBTQIA+ community. Our early life experiences are unique, our journeys towards self-actualization are unique, and the ways in which we love one another and navigate our relationships are unique. It's important your therapist knows this.

It’s effective. Studies have consistently shown that online therapy is as effective as traditional in-office therapy.
It’s convenient. You’ll receive an email confirmation after booking. Simply click the link from any laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
It’s covered by your insurance. Large Internet-based companies advertise online counseling that requires you to pay a costly monthly subscription for limited time with a therapist. Our services are covered by your insurance.

Location: Entirely online! You’ll join the HIPAA-secure group videochat each week from the comfort of your own home.
Description: Unfortunately, all too often our society sends the message that those with ADHD are "lazy underachievers" who are "faking it" and simply need to "work harder.” This societal message couldn't be further from the truth! ADHD is a neurological condition that alters your ability to maintain focus, stay organized, and shut out all the "extra noise" in your environment. Re-focus is a 8-week group where adults with ADHD can support one another, learn more about ADHD, and gain practical tools to improve their cognitive functioning.
Who’s Welcome: Open to all adults with ADD/ADHD. The group strives to be social-justice oriented, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and culturally affirming.
Cost: Covered by your insurance. We can provide a more accurate quote upon registration. Discounts available for those without adequate insurance coverage.
Our skills-based group focuses heavily on teaching cognitive and behavioral skills you can utilize to better manage your ADHD and improve your cognitive functioning. Although there are still opportunities each week to provide and receive support from other adults with ADHD, there is less focus on this aspect of the group experience. Our skills-based group meets Thursdays 6-7pm on Zoom.
Our connection and support-based groups are focused on providing and receiving support from other adults with ADHD, though still occasionally address the same cognitive and behavioral skills mentioned above. Our connection-based group meets Tuesdays 6-7pm on Zoom.
Which group’s focus is right for me: Skills or Connection?
We generally recommend our clients start with our Skills group before later moving into our Connection group, though that is not required. Before joining either group, you will have an individual consultation with the one of our ADHD specialists who can recommend which group is best for your unique treatment goals.
Framework is proud to partner with Telepsych Health to provide our clients quality psychiatric care.
According to the American Psychological Association, receiving therapy and medication simultaneously has been shown to help decrease symptoms of anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Your Framework therapist is here to be a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental specialist who can help you decide whether medication could be beneficial alongside your therapy.
If you and your Framework therapist agree that medication could be helpful, we’ll help schedule you an appointment with a provider at Telepsych Health who accepts your insurance. Appointments are provided over secure, HIPAA-compliant videochat from the comfort of your own home.
If you believe medication could be right for you, please discuss this with your Framework therapist.
ADHD is an incredibly impactful condition that is often misunderstood by others. ADHD can feel like you're working twice as hard to get half as far. Unfortunately, all too often our society sends the message that those with ADHD are "lazy underachievers" who are "faking it" and simply need to "work harder."
This societal message couldn't be further from the truth! ADHD is a neurological condition that alters your ability to maintain focus, stay organized, and shut out all the "extra noise" in your environment.

Short attention span
Procrastination and forgetfulness
Disorganization, messiness, or frequently misplacing belongings
