Catherine Kilmer, M.A.

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist* (147014), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (16577)

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

I approach therapy with the utmost sensitivity and respect for each client’s unique inner world, connecting with each client’s emotions through openness and mindful presence. I try to offer consistent empathic attunement, and support my clients in co-creating a therapeutic space for building self compassion and awareness. Although I work with individuals and couples presenting with a wide range of concerns, I’m especially honored to help clients explore themes related to interdependence, emotional regulation and expression, and family system dynamics.

I received my Master’s in Counseling from Pacifica Graduate Institute. In addition to being a therapist, I’ve been a mindfulness practitioner since 2003, completed hundreds of hours of yoga teacher training, and facilitated meditation retreats. I utilize Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral and Mindfulness based interventions in my work.

I’m supervised by Kerry Rogers, LCSW (102686). Clients are welcome to reach out to Framework’s Assistant Director of Training, Dr. Leal, for any questions or concerns.
