Insurance Note (Magellan/Blue Shield CA)

Please be advised that Framework will be discontinuing our acceptance of Blue Shield for California / Magellan (logos below) for psychotherapy as of 7/1/21. If you are a current client who will be impacted by this change, your therapist will provide you with further information during your next appointment. You may continue regular appointments with your therapist through the end of June (pending medical necessity). There are no immediate changes to your billing.

If you are covered under Anthem Blue Cross or another non-California Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan (logos below), then you are not impacted by this change and you may continue past 7/1/21 as needed.

If you and your therapist agree that you need continued psychotherapy after 7/1/21, you have a few different options:

• You may continue to see your Framework therapist for an out-of-pocket fee of $95/session.

• You may provide Framework with an alternative insurance you wish to use for your psychotherapy. A list of insurances we accept can be found at this link.

• You may wish to pursue therapy at one of the clinics below, who still accept your insurance (at the time of this notice). We are happy to send your records to your new therapist if you will let us know once you are scheduled.
