Maite Savage, M.A.

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist* (141037)

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

I view my clients as whole individuals shaped by their personal histories, lived experiences, internalized narratives and the broader societal messages they’ve absorbed. Together, we’ll examine how these influences shape the way you relate to yourself and others. Through a psychodynamic lens, we’ll work collaboratively to deepen insight, develop practical tools and support intentional steps toward meaningful change and lasting resilience.

I also recognize that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable or daunting, and I strive to create a space grounded in curiosity, nonjudgmental support, and open and thoughtful dialogue. Every therapeutic relationship has its own personality, and I try to find the connection, rhythm, and tone that feels most natural for each client. My goal is for each individual/couple to feel uniquely seen, understood, and supported in the work we do together.

With over two decades of experience in the performing arts/entertainment industry, I especially enjoy working with creatives and individuals.

I have a deep passion for working with couples and understand the multitude of stressors/dynamics that can present themselves when we are partnered. I’m drawn to supporting others(individuals and couples) with family planning, the transition to parenthood and/or fertility challenges. I’m deeply interested in the emotional and relational transformations that unfold during this stage—especially in becoming a parent and parenting young children.

I have a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University as well as a BFA in Theater from Carnegie Mellon University. I’m supervised by Dr. Scott (CA 29242;IL 071010928). Clients are welcome to reach out to Framework’s Assistant Director of Training, Dr. Leal, for any questions or concerns.
