Logan Rhys, M.A.
Psychological associate (#Pending), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist* (162260)
Pronouns: He/Him/His
I prioritize creating a therapeutic space that feels grounded, honest, and deeply respectful of each client’s lived experience. My approach is warm, collaborative, and relational, with a focus on helping clients better understand the patterns, beliefs, relationships, and experiences that may be shaping their current distress.
I believe therapy should offer both insight and movement. Alongside feeling understood and accepted, I support clients in building greater emotional resilience, self-trust, and clarity about who they are and how they want to live. My work balances meaningful exploration with practical tools that clients can carry into their daily lives. Sessions with me are thoughtful, responsive, and tailored to what feels most important in the moment. I offer space for reflection, emotional attunement, and gentle challenge, helping clients better understand themselves, connect present struggles to past experiences, and move toward choices that feel aligned with their values.
I approach therapy with cultural humility, identity-affirming care, and a nonjudgmental stance. As a queer therapist, my work is grounded in LGBTQIA+-affirming and culturally responsive care. I work with clients navigating concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and identity development, with particular care for those exploring sexuality, gender, authenticity, belonging, and a more integrated sense of self.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine where I am currently completing my Doctorate.
I’m currently a psychological associate (#Pending) supervised by Dr. Schall (34734). Clients are welcome to reach out to Framework’s Assistant Director of Training, Dr. Leal, for any questions or concerns.
*In addition to being a psychological associate, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. The California license title of “Marriage and Family Therapist” can be a bit misleading. MFTs are trained to assess, diagnose and treat individuals, couples, families, and groups to help those who are struggling achieve more adequate, satisfying and productive lives.
