Amir Mohseni, M.A.
psychological associate
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar (even intimidating) and many people may feel unsure of what to expect or how to begin. I recognize that it takes tremendous courage to share your struggles and vulnerabilities with someone new, and I deeply respect the trust that process requires. My goal is to honor your story and create a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic space where you feel supported, understood, and able to show up as your full self.
I approach therapy with warmth, authenticity, and curiosity, working collaboratively with clients to build deeper self-understanding, strengthen resilience, and move toward their values and personal goals. Sessions are guided by what feels most relevant and meaningful in the moment. Together, we may explore relationships, recurring patterns, and past experiences, while also identifying practical tools, strategies, or plans to help navigate present challenges.
I believe therapy can be a space for both reflection and growth—where curiosity helps uncover new insight and support fosters meaningful change. As a bilingual, Farsi-speaking therapist, I value culturally responsive care and enjoy working with clients on topics related to race and ethnicity, LGBTQIA+ identities, and the ways culture and identity shape our experiences, relationships, and sense of self.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from California Northstate University, where I am currently completing my Doctorate.
I’m a psychological associate supervised by Dr. Hossepian (34310). Clients are welcome to reach out to Framework’s Assistant Director of Training, Dr. Leal, for any questions or concerns.
