Brianna Marshak, M.Sc.
practicum counselor
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
specialize in working with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety. My passion is helping clients foster healthy interpersonal connections and build a stable, meaningful life—even in the face of ongoing challenges. I believe that while we can’t always control what happens to us, we can develop insight, resilience, and new ways of responding to life’s stressors.
Therapy with me is collaborative. I hope you’ll feel supported, thoughtfully challenged when helpful, and fully comfortable being yourself in the room. I aim to create a space that feels grounded, curious, and nonjudgmental—where all parts of your experience are welcome. In a typical session, we may explore what’s been coming up for you, look more closely at patterns beneath the surface, and discuss practical tools that could be useful. I’m interested not only in symptom relief, but also in understanding the deeper emotional themes and relational dynamics that shape your inner world. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels steady and intentional, identifying goals that matter to you and revisiting them as you grow.
Above all, I see therapy as a space for greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
I have a Master’s in Psychology from Regent’s University of London (UK), and I’m currently completing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Alliant University. Outside of work, my interests include fitness, traveling, and the dramatic arts.
I’m currently a practicum counselor supervised by Dr. Schall (34734). Clients are welcome to reach out to Framework’s Assistant Director of Training, Dr. Leal, for any questions or concerns.
