Camille Laksman, M.A.
practicum counselor
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
I prioritize creating a space where we can make sense of your world together. I show up with curiosity, warmth, and attunement, helping you feel understood as we gently explore the deeper patterns and meanings shaping your experience. I offer a reflective, relational space where we slow down to notice and understand patterns in your relationships, emotions, and sense of self.
I practice from a relational, attachment-based psychodynamic framework, which emphasizes the lasting impact of early relationships and emotional experiences on present-day well-being. I believe healing unfolds within a collaborative and reflective therapeutic relationship—one where trust, insight, and emotional attunement create the conditions for meaningful, lasting change. I value a therapeutic approach that is neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trauma-informed. I particularly enjoy supporting clients who are exploring identity, navigating life transitions, or feeling stuck in their relationships. I also enjoy working with clients around perfectionism, shame and self-criticism, burnout, sensory sensitivities, misophonia, and existential concerns.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles and am currently completing my Doctorate.
I’m currently a practicum counselor supervised by Dr. Scott (CA 29242; IL 071010928) & Dr. Chassman. Clients are welcome to reach out to Framework’s Assistant Director of Training, Dr. Leal, for any questions or concerns.
