Dr. Emily Chassman

Psychological associate (94029099)

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

I’ll work collaboratively with you to build on your natural strengths, helping you feel less weighed down by worry and anxiety, more connected in your relationships, and more grounded and authentic in your day-to-day life. I strive to use a balanced approach in therapy: creating an open and reflective space while also providing direct feedback and concrete suggestions.

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University. I specialized in working with depression, anxiety, relationship and intimacy issues, trauma, and navigating major life transitions. Before joining Framework, I worked at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, John Jay College Counseling Center, and the Adelphi University Center for Psychological Services.

I’m currently a post-doctoral psychological associate (94029099) supervised by Dr. Hossepian (34310). Clients are welcome to reach out to Framework’s Assistant Director of Training, Dr. Leal, for any questions or concerns.
