I provide individual and relationship therapy (i.e. couples counseling) for adults as well as adolescents. I offer therapy services face-to-face in my office or via Skype, whichever you prefer.
I believe the relationship we’ll form is the most powerful catalyst for change in therapy and place a high value on you feeling comfort, connection, and trust in our work together. Previous clients have said they felt warmth, understanding, and acceptance within our relationship, and expressed appreciation for the freedom to explore and clarify their own feelings while I challenged them to consider different perspectives.
I’ll work collaboratively with you to create a plan for meeting your personal goals for growth. Although I consider myself primarily a psychoanalytically-grounded, relationally-focused psychologist, I’ll use a broad repertoire of interventions that are guided by scientific research, accepted theory, and clinical experience.
In addition to providing traditional therapy, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat individuals with performance anxiety, stage fright, fear of public speaking, or exam stress.
