Telehealth psychiatrist (work from home)

Framework Associates is a rapidly expanding practice based in Santa Monica. We were founded on the principles of providing affordable, accessible psychological services from highly qualified psychologists. Current marketing strategies attract high functioning clients in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who are experiencing phase of life issues, relationship concerns, or striving to achieve work/life balance. To meet clinical demand, Framework is excited to expand into offering psychiatric services.

Work from home! Nationally, so long as you hold a CA license.

Flexible schedule! Create whatever schedule you like between the hours of 8am and 8pm PST.

No patient quotas! No minimum hours required. Work as much or as little as you’d like! We’ll scale with you.

Minimal responsibilities! Simply provide clinical service and write the note. The practice will handle your client recruitment, scheduling, and billing.

Consultation Available! Framework is intentional about hiring highly qualified providers. We’re currently comprised of 5 clinical psychologists, a neuropsychologist, and 2 postdoctoral fellows. Additional psychiatric prescribers may be added in the future to provide you consultation and vacation coverage.

Competitive, Reliable Income! Competitive fee-split structure. Given our emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, our retention rates are 92%+. You can expect your clients to be highly motivated to attend their appointments, providing you a reliable income.


The ideal candidate supports Framework’s founding principles and wants to be an important part of our of group. To be considered, a candidate must:

  • Possess a valid license to practice medicine in California

  • Possess a DEA certificate for prescribing [*Structured to comply with Ryan Haight Act]

  • Possess board certification in psychiatry (*Board-eligible may be acceptable, please explain in your cover letter)

  • Allow the practice to panel you with select insurances, which you do not have to accept in other settings where you may work

  • Be comfortable providing psychiatric services via video-chat; eRx available

  • Value the physician/patient relationship and strive to build strong rapport

  • Have prior experience treating high functioning adults in an outpatient setting (moderate depression, generalized anxiety, ADHD, etc.)
