Christina Charlotin, Psy.D.

Dr. Charlotin graduated from Albizu University and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. She considers herself a versatile psychologist who weaves together Cognitive-Behavioral theory (CBT) and positive psychology in her interventions. She believes strongly in the mind/body connection and can help clients adopt mindfulness, meditation, and consciousness practices in their daily lives to reduce anxiety and increase feelings of balance and peace. Dr. Charlotin believes therapy is successful when clients discover ways they may enhance their relationships, embrace their true self, and gain the self-confidence needed to thrive in life. Previous clients have described her as open, nonjudgmental, and relatable.

Dr. Charlotin holds a lifelong commitment to social justice, and has honored this commitment through her previous professional and volunteer work. Before joining Framework she worked as a therapist in Haiti following their 2010 earthquake. As a member of the community herself, Dr. Charlotin practices LGBT-affirming therapy. She lives downtown and enjoys traveling, dancing, and hiking.
